Who We Are
SoulStone, Inc. — Trauma-informed support rooted in dignity and community.
SoulStone, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering trauma-informed, community-centered support for caregivers, helping professionals, and women navigating burnout, chronic stress, or transition.
Burnout is not a personal failure.
OUR WHY
Many of the people we serve are caregivers, helping professionals, women in midlife transition, or people who have spent years being “the strong one.” They are capable, insightful, and deeply caring — and they are tired.
SoulStone exists because rest, regulation, and sustainable support should not be luxuries. Burnout is a nervous-system response to prolonged stress and responsibility, not weakness. Our work supports people in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and rebuilding from a place of safety and dignity — not performance or urgency.
These beliefs guide how we show up and how we work.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
- The nervous system matters — healing begins with safety.
- Burnout is information, not weakness.
- People heal in relationship, not isolation.
- Support should respect choice, pace, and lived experience.
- Growth happens through safety and steady care, not pressure or urgency.
Support that is practical, relational, and grounded in real life.
HOW WE HELP
SoulStone offers trauma-informed supports designed for real life — not theory alone. Our work blends education, embodiment, and relational connection in ways that help people integrate new awareness and tools into daily living without pressure to “get it right.”
Our core offerings include:
- Live cohorts that balance education, practice, and connection
- Trainings & workshops tailored to caregivers, professionals, and organizations
- Community-based supports that reduce isolation
- Tools & resources designed to complement, not replace, relational care
One mission, multiple expressions of care.
OUR ECOSYSTEM
SoulStone, Inc. is the nonprofit home of this work. Connected to SoulStone are mission-aligned initiatives that expand how support is offered:
- SoulStone, Inc. — Education, tools, and supports designed to help people reconnect to themselves and strengthen capacity.
- Appalachian Soul Provisions — Thoughtfully created goods rooted in nourishment, care, and place.
Each branch serves the same mission: helping people return to themselves — gently, honestly, and without shame.
We grow with intention, not urgency.
LOOKING AHEAD
As SoulStone continues to evolve, we are building:
- Additional live cohorts with focused themes
- Community-based programming responsive to need
- Professional trainings for organizations and caregivers
- Strategic partnerships that strengthen regional support systems
We are committed to growing with integrity and discernment — quality over speed.
