Trauma-informed support for people who carry a lot.

SoulStone, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing trauma-informed, community-centered support for caregivers, helping professionals, and women experiencing burnout, chronic stress, or transition.

Welcome to SoulStone

You don’t need to be “ready” or have everything figured out to be here.

SoulStone exists for people who have spent years caring for others, holding responsibility, and pushing through — often at the expense of their own wellbeing. People come to SoulStone when burnout feels familiar, stress has become constant, and rest no longer comes easily. Our work offers grounded, trauma-informed support that meets people where they are — without pressure to perform or push through.

Burnout is not a personal failure. It is a nervous system response to prolonged stress and responsibility.

A Different Approach to Support

  • Trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware programming
  • Intentional pacing without urgency or pressure
  • Support designed for real life, not perfection
  • Programs for caregivers, helping professionals, and women in transition
  • Community-centered and relational, not performative

You’re in the Right Place If…

  • You’ve been carrying responsibility for a long time
  • You’re caring for others — foster children, aging parents, family, or community
  • You feel burned out, overwhelmed, or disconnected
  • You want support that feels safe, grounded, and human
  • You’re looking for connection, not hype

What People Are Saying

"Last night I had the honor of attending the first healing event with SoulStone led by Julie. The content was "Healing Your Inner Child". Julie gently and expertly guided us through exploring aspects of childhood trauma and the unmet needs to understand how those experiences, or lack of them, have shaped our lives. She offered thoughtfully planned exercises to assist us through the process of connecting with our inner child, speaking to that child with love and kindness and also suggested some self care tips to take with us on our healing journeys. The brave vulnerability of the women who attended was so beautiful. I will say I cried through the entire workshop..my soul cracked open with the need to let go of the heaviness and burden that I've carried for far too long. I want to say a huge and heartfelt "thank you" to this group and to Julie for providing a safe and supported place for healing."

“As a foster parent licensing specialist, I had the fortunate opportunity to be led by Julie, the Licensing Supervisor. She put her entire soul into this leadership position, going above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly- from foster parent events and training to tuning into the interpersonal relationships among her employees. It was a pleasure to report to and learn from Julie.”

“I first met Julie many years ago while working with a foster family she had licensed. I witnessed first-hand her dedication, professionalism, and the deep admiration the family had for her. Over the years, our paths have crossed many times, most recently as colleagues, where I’ve had the privilege of seeing her in action through impactful trainings and collaborative projects. Julie has an incredible ability to go above and beyond in everything she does. She is solution-focused, forward-thinking, and always looking for ways to improve systems and outcomes. Her true heart for helping families shines through in every interaction, and her commitment to making a positive difference is inspiring. It is always a pleasure to work with Julie, and I highly value the knowledge, energy, and compassion she brings to the table.”

Juliet is an advocate for children and families bringing with her experience, passion, organizational skills and attention to detail. She is a visionary supervisor, pursuing excellence and efficiency meeting goals and creating forward changes that make a difference. As a former member of her team, I have observed and experienced that Juliet is a mentor, coach and encourager. She wants her team to pursue their goals, further their knowledge base and to practice self care. Juliet is a phenomenal trainer, she has lived experience in child welfare which makes her not only a vast source of information but also compassionate and understanding.
